Taylor is wonderful and I am proud of her, especially as young as she is but there are better voices in female country music such as Martina and Carrie.
I think that someone like Reba is the bestFemale Country Music singer. Reba has been around for years and has staying power.She has see all kinds of supposed female country singers come and go and she is still here. Reba connects with her listeners and with her fans.She has been thriugh the wringer so to speak,and always bounces back.
All hype. No one deserves the praise she has received this early in a career unless you are a phenom. She was a cute kid and was a good role model for teenage girls but she is now overexposed and I am completely sick of her fake surprise when she wins an award or when applauded. Enough already. Everyone in my office turns their radios off when she comes on. In Chicago on US99.5 they seem to play no one else. Look at CMT or GAC and she is all you see. I have seen her live and she is better in person than on TV where she always sounds horrible but Martina, Carrie, Trisha, Miranda & many others are light years ahead of her.
She is certainly a wonderful young lady that can write and sing her own songs. I believe Reba is the best female country singer. She is such a sweetheart and her voice is so steady and powerful, whereas, Taylor's isn't. I think she is getting too much praise right now for what she deserves.
