1/11/2008 Stephen L. Betts Jennifer Hanson joins Universal Records South labelmate Phil Vassar in a multi-city acoustic tour, which kicks off tomorrow (1/12) in Prescott, Arizona, and runs through the end of February. In this special “intimate evening with,” Jennifer will treat fans to her own hits (“Beautiful Goodbye,” “Joyride”) as well as hit songs she’s written for other artists, including the Wreckers’ “Leave the Pieces,” and the Bucky Covington hit “A Different World.” Jennifer also performs her soon-to-be-released second single, “73,” from her upcoming CD. “This tour is going to be something unique for the music fans who join us,” says Jennifer. “When it’s just you and a couple of guitars up there on stage, you feel very vulnerable, but at the same time very connected to the audience. It's almost as if they are sitting there with you as you create a song, and they're getting to hear it in its rawest form, before you go into the studio and add all of the other instruments and voices. This connection and interaction is what makes theater tours so special.”
