IBMA's Bluegrass Fan Fest will be held at the Nashville Convention Center and will celebrate the 100th birthday of the late Bill Monroe, the Father of Bluegrass Music.

Not only will attendees have the opportunity to hear great live music, they can also visit the many booths, discussion groups and workshops that will be set up. A "Name that Blue Grass Boy" trivia competition will take place.

On Friday, Sept 30 at 3 p.m., an event titled, "Tell Us Your Bill Monroe Story," will take place, giving a platform for the many stories and memories of Monroe to be experienced by all participants.

Proceeds from the Fan Fest ticket sales go to the Bluegrass Trust Fund, a fund that is designed to help bluegrass professionals in time of need.
