Julianne Hough Debuts in Top Spot

5/29/2008 Cliff Chartrand It didn’t take long for Country newcomer Julianne Hough to find success in the Country Music world. Hough’s self-titled album debuted this week at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. “Country Music has always been my passion,” says Julianne. “Having the opportunity to make a record in Nashville and then getting to share that with the world is beyond my wildest imagination.” Hough originally came into the public eye on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. The Country Music singer was twice crowned champion on the show, once with Apolo Ohno and once with Helio Castroneves. The first single from the album, “That Song in My Head,” can currently be found on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Now that the latest season of Dancing with the Stars has been completed, Julianne Hough will join Brad Paisley for a concert tour.
