Hello, Dolly Records

8/2/2007 Stephen L. Betts   Dolly Parton has formed her own record label, Dolly Records, and will release a country album next February. Billboard.com reports that Dolly will be the only person on the label. Distribution is still being finalized, but a deal is in the works with iTunes for digital sales. The first single, "Better Get To Livin'," will hit radio stations Sept. 24, with Dolly set to appear on “a national TV show” a few days later. Dolly’s manager, Danny Nozell, who will also serve as the general manager of the label, says she’ll begin a tour early next year, “We're going to definitely do a world tour to support the album, starting in March,” he says “We're going to be doing Europe, Australia, America and Canada.”
