Jennifer Hanson: Star Reporter

10/18/2007 Stephen L. Betts Jennifer Hanson is an artist, songwriter, musician and producer. She can now network correspondent to her resume as she takes on that role for CMT Insider, covering the red carpet arrivals at the recent ASCAP Awards. Among the artists and songwriters on the red carpet on whom Jennifer tests her interview skills are Kenny Chesney, Emerson Drive, John Rich and Craig Wiseman. The episode premieres Saturday (10/20) at 2:00 p.m. (ET) and repeats throughout the weekend. Check cmt.com for additional dates and times. Jennifer has just completed work on her soon-to-be-released Universal Records South CD. The album, which she co-produced with Nick Brophy, will feature Jennifer’s current self-penned single “Joyride.”  As a songwriter, Jennifer Hanson has already scored two major hits in the past 12 months: The Wreckers’ multi-week No. 1, “Leave the Pieces,” and Bucky Covington’s Top 5 hit, “A Different World.”
