Hank Williams III Releases the 'Rebel Within'

One look at the track list of Rebel Within and listeners will have no doubt who penned such titles as "Getting’ Drunk And Fallin’ Down,” “Rebel Within,” “Tore Up And Loud” and “Drinkin’ Over Mama.”

 

The album, which hits shelves Tuesday, May 25, is Hank Williams III's seventh release since his debut in 1999. Williams, a progenitor of the "Hellbilly" movement, wrote 10 of the album’s 11 tracks and performed vocals, drums and the acoustic rhythmic guitar for the record.

 

Williams will promote the record with the 12-city Crazed Canada Tour, which kicks off June 4 at The Opera House in Toronto, Ontario. Williams will be the sole performer at the concert.

 

Music from the new album will also be featured on the June 13 episode of the HBO hit series, True Blood.
