Oscar-winning actress and star of the upcoming film, Country Strong, Gwyneth Paltrow is making her Country Music singing debut Wednesday, Nov. 10, on the 44th Annual CMA Awards on ABC. Paltrow will sing the film’s title track alongside Country legend Vince Gill.

Paltrow and Tim McGraw, along with Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester, star in the big-screen drama Country Strong, set to hit theaters nationwide early next year.

Soon after a rising young singer-songwriter (Hedlund) becomes romantically involved with Paltrow's character, Kelly Canter, the pair embarks on a career resurrection tour helmed by her husband/manager (McGraw), featuring a beauty-queen-turned-singer (Meester). In between concerts, romantic entanglements and old demons threaten to derail them all.

The 44th Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Wednesday, Nov. 10, and Country Strong hits theaters in Los Angeles and Nashville on Dec. 22. The movie will open in theaters nationwide on Jan. 7, 2011.
