Gwyneth Paltrow Admits Nerves Over Upcoming CMA Performance

Gwyneth-Paltrow
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow will be singing with Vince Gill at the CMA Awards this year. The pair will be singing the title track from her new movie with Tim McGraw, Country Strong. This being one of Paltrow’s first TV performances, she is understandably nervous.

"If I don't faint, if I get through it, it'll be OK. Most people start in a bar, then a bigger bar, then a theater. You're not supposed to just start at the CMAs."

Although she is anxious about her upcoming debut, she was able to find consolation through Faith Hill.

"Faith was so incredible to me. She was, like, such a great girlfriend and she was so supportive, and I asked her a million questions," Paltrow said.

The 44th Annual CMA Awards will air live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 8 p.m. ET.
