Gretchen Wilson to Kick Off 2009 CMA Music Fest

Two-time CMA Award winner Gretchen Wilson will give one of her trademark energetic performances at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, to kick off this year’s CMA Music Festival in Nashville.

Wilson, who will release her fourth studio album on Sony Nashville later this year, is well known for her hits “Here for the Party,” “When I Think About Cheatin’,” “California Girls” and “Redneck Woman.”

Admittance to the Daytime Stage at Riverfront Park where Wilson will perform is free, but four-day Music Fest ticket holders have exclusive early entrance privileges.

Love and Theft, John Michael Montgomery and Craig Morgan have also been recently added to the Riverfront lineup.
