2/29/2008 Stephen L. Betts With his recent stint on CMT’s Gone Country, John Rich is proving he can spot and develop raw, untapped talent. So now, he's launching his own talent earch. John is kick-starting the “Get Rich Talent Search” on March 31 at the 12th & Porter club in Nashville, in hopes of discovering the next big thing in country music. Each month John will choose 10 acts to compete for the top prize: $300 and a chance to perform for some of Music Row's powerful decision-makers. “There's probably a kid parking cars somewhere ... he knows he's a superstar, but he doesn't know the first thing about how he's gonna get there,” says John.
