Good Morning America's Robin Roberts Helps the Opry Go Pink

The Grand Ole Opry will join thousands of women in the battle against breast cancer this Friday, Oct. 2. Carrie Underwood will take the stage during each of the night's shows to initiate covering the legendary barn backdrop with a pink banner in support of the event's theme, "Opry Goes Pink." ABC’s Good Morning America co-anchor and breast cancer survivor Robin Roberts will be a guest announcer for the show. Performances include Underwood, Terri Clark, Jo Dee Messina and Lorrie Morgan to name a few.

 

Fans can mention "OPRYPINK" when ordering tickets for the show over the telephone or online to donate $5 of the ticket price to Women Rock for the Cure or Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Tickets can be purchased through opry.com or (800) SEE-OPRY.
