Gone Country Concert Set for Nashville

10/23/2007 Stephen L. Betts CMT, Country Music Television, is inviting the general public to a free concert event this Thursday (10/25) at Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon. The concert, hosted by John Rich, will feature the cast of the new CMT series, Gone Country. Premiering in January 2008, the show will take seven established performers from every realm of the entertainment and music industries and immerse them in all things country, for a chance to break out as the next big country superstar.  Thursday’s concert will feature performances by show participants Bobby Brown, Carnie Wilson, Dee Snider, Diana DeGarmo, Julio Iglesias Jr, Maureen McCormick and Sisqo, who will debut a country song they’ve been developing for the series, along with the help of influential Nashville songwriters.  Production of this six-episode series is currently underway in Nashville.
