Gloriana Debuts at No. 2

Gloriana's self-titled debut album, released Aug. 4, has hit No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 3 on the Top 200. The album, hitting the best sales records of any new Country Music artist with an album premiere in 2009, is riding high at more than 44,000 copies sold in its first week.

"We are humbled by the support and encouragement that we have received from our fans, Country radio, our online partners and community, CMT and GAC, and all of those around us who have worked so hard on our behalf," Gloriana said collectively in a statement. "We are so grateful to Taylor (Swift), who has given us the opportunity to be on the road with her and has made us feel so welcome with her support."

Gloriana has returned to the Fearless 2009 Tour with Taylor Swift this week, and will return to New York City on Aug. 27 to perform at Madison Square Garden.
