'Girls' Night Out' Honors the Women of Country

CBS and the Academy of Country Music will join together to honor several of country music's leading ladies for the upcoming special "Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country."
 
"Girls’ Night Out" will feature the top women performers in country music, while paying tribute to today’s country music female artists.  
 
Jennifer Nettles, Reba, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood will be honored for their ACM achievements, while Martina McBride will be recognized by ACM Lifting Lives for songs like “Independence Day” and “Concrete Angel," which raise social awareness of domestic violence and encourage female empowerment.
 
The taping will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday, April 4, with an airtime on a later date. Tickets are currently on sale at Ticketmaster for this one-of-a-kind event.
