Get Some Possum At Cracker Barrel

On August 31st Cracker Barrel will issue an exclusive release CD of George Jones, “The Possum”, to go along with the celebration of their 40 years in business. The Possum proclaims he is a life-long patron of Cracker Barrel, which opened it’s first store in 1969.

The release, titled A Collection of My Best Recollection, features “Finally Friday”, “White Lightning”, and what many call the greatest country song ever – “He Stopped Lovin’ Her Today”. There are also a couple previously unreleased cuts.

George Jones says, When the idea of working with Cracker Barrel on a CD first came up, I was all for it. I’ve been eating there for as long as I can remember. I love the idea of having my music right there in their retail store!”
