Paula Dean may have paved the way, but Country Music superstars are starting to cash in on the art of downhome cooking. In 2008, Trisha Yearwood released Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen, a southern cookbook she co-wrote with her mother and sister. GACtv.com reported that the book was so successful that Yearwood is spending the summer working on a second edition, due out in time for Mother's Day of 2010.

Fifteen years ago, Alan Jackson also put his name on Who Says You Can't Cook It All, which became a huge hit, filled with his family's southern recipes and exclusive photos. This year, Jackson released an updated version of the book, with more than 60 recipes and more photos of the Jackson family.

Fans can find Jackson on his Good Time tour this summer; performances this weekend are in St. Leonard, Md. and Pelham, Ala. Visit www.alanjackson.com for tour information and a link to purchase the revamped cookbook.
