George Strait Sells Out in One Hour

George Strait has the honor of performing at the first event inside the Dallas Cowboys’ new record-setting stadium.  However, don’t expect to get tickets any time soon. The show, which will also feature Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton and Julianne Hough, sold out in less than an hour. "George Strait is one of the most successful and prolific country music artists of all time," said Jerry Jones, Owner of the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. "We wanted one of the greatest entertainers in the world to open what we believe is going to be one of the greatest sports and entertainment venue in the world." The show is set for 5:30 p.m. as part of the stadium’s inauguration on June 6.
