King of Country Music, George Strait, loves showing his fans a "good time." With his 39th studio album, Here For a Good Time, awaiting its release for next week, it has already received raving reviews, the title track on the brink of Top 10 at radio and his 2012 tour plans are preparing to live up to the album’s title.

But King George has announced that he will not be the only country music legend to grace the stage, for he has invited Martina McBride to join him for the tour. It will begin in late January with cities and on-sale information announced soon.

“I love Martina. She’s been on our tours before and she’s great," commented George. “I’m really looking forward to the tour. Martina will definitely make it a special night.”

Strait’s album will be in stores Tuesday, Sept. 6. His current single and title track, “Here For A Good Time” is currently at the number 11 position on Billboard’s chart. Of the 11 tracks on his latest album, Strait co-wrote seven with son Bubba and songwriter Dean Dillon.

Martina will release her 11th studio album entitled Eleven on Oct. 11, 2011. Her current single, “I’m Gonna Love You Through It,” is also climbing the charts and the song’s video was recently iTunes’ “Video of the Week” with more than 150,000 downloads. The accompanying video features dozens of cancer survivors and supporters including well-known celebrites, Robin Roberts (anchor for ABC’s Good Morning America), Hoda Kotb (anchor for NBC’s TODAY Show), Grammy award-winning singer Sheryl Crow and ABC journalist Katie Couric – who each have very personal connections to the disease.

Be sure to watch out for tour dates and ticket sales for this unforgetable event!
