Gary Allan's Living Hard, Writing Harder

10/18/2007 Stephen L. Betts Gary Allan says he records his albums in at least two different phases. Because he writes or co-writes much of his own material, he likes to give himself time to work on new songs between recording dates. He says he also likes to give Nashville songwriters time to pen new material, since he's open to recording their work. Gary’s latest album, Living Hard will be released on Tuesday (10/23). He co-wrote six of the album’s 11 tracks, including the hard-rocking title track, the touching “Learning How to Bend,” and “She’s So California.” Gary joins Keith Urban on the second leg of his Love, Pain & the whole crazy World Tour, kicking off Nov. 1 in Columbus, Ohio.   CountryHound – Country Music Fan’s Best Friend
