12/17/2007 Stephen L. Betts Wanna see Garth Brooks’ new video? GAC will broadcast the world premiere of the singer’s new clip, a collaboration with rocker Huey Lewis on the latter's classic hit “Workin' for a Livin’” tonight (12/17) at 9:30 p.m. (ET). For two weeks, GAC will be the exclusive destination on air and online for Garth fans to view “Workin’ for a Livin’.” After the premiere, the video will be incorporated into GAC's normal video programming blocks. You can watch the video online now at GACTV.com. The video places Garth and Huey in the center of the racing action at Atlanta Motor Speedway, performing on a race track as cars zoom past. “It's all about the working man in all of us,” Garth says. “All of us have that whole thing of you're working for Uncle Sam, you're working for your kids' education. You're always working for someone else ... I think Huey Lewis brings the essence of the blue-collar mentality to it. I'm really enjoying myself working with a guy that's all heart and soul and at the same time talented. That's the kind of people I like to hang around with.” For a behind-the-scenes look at director Jon Small's camera tricks and computer animation, check out Garth Brooks Behind the Video Workin' for a Livin', premiering Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. (ET) only on GAC. The 30-minute special reveals how the video was created, from the initial concept meeting to the 10-hour shoot in 100-degree weather. Plus, Garth and Huey get in some racing action of their own by taking Jon's rental car around the track for a tag-team joy ride.
