Garth Brooks will emerge from retirement for the first time since leaving the stage in October of 2000. This time, however, Brooks will serve as executive producer for a new, made-for-television movie rather than entertainer.
Brooks is the executive producer for a new Lifetime Television movie based on his hit single, "Unanswered Prayers," wrote AOL's The Boot.  In 2001 Brooks co-produced the made-for-tv movie Call Me Claus, starring Woopi Goldberg. The new movie is already in pre-production, but there is no word yet as to who the actors will be.
