Betts Garth Brooks' Teammates for Kids Foundation completed a project this week with the unveiling of the Zone Playroom at the Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Garth and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman were on hand as the facility was dedicated Tuesday (1/15), according to the Associated Press. Garth's foundation joined forces with the National Hockey League and the NHL Players Association to make the room, which was previously known as Aikman's End Zone, possible. The playroom helps distract children who are in recovery from their illnesses, and includes card games and video games.
