Free Fun At CMA Music Festival

5/20/2008 Sandy Paul The 2008 CMA MusicFest, which will be held June 5-8, is a great way to bring the family together for free food, entertainment and fun. The festival offers free activities for all ages such as Borders storytelling, arts and crafts by the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, the Music City Rising Star Youth Vocal Competition and family shows on the Family Zone Mainstage. McDonald'sĀ®-Dr PepperĀ® Family Zone will feature shows geared towards kids and families as well as dancing and singing with Strawberry Shortcake and friends and magic with Ronald McDonald. "The Fun Zone and the McDonald's-Dr Pepper Family Zone are great areas for kids of all ages to play, learn, eat, and be entertained," said CMA Chief Executive Officer Tammy Genovese. Bobby Labonte at Fan Fair Super Motel 8 will be hosting autograph signing with NASCAR driver Bobby Labonte, Borders bookstore will be collecting CDs, books and DVDs to send to the troops and families can cool off on the Nashville Shores Water Slide in the Fun Zone. The Hard Rock Outdoor Stage will also host nightly concerts featuring artists such as Whiskey Falls, Shawna Russell, Colt Ford, Jason Matthews and more.
