Fans Have Opportunity to Star in Movie with George Strait

Nashville Country Music fans have the chance to see a free George Strait concert and be extras in a new movie. A Pure Country Gift, a new feature film by the director of Young Guns and Pure Country, stars local Nashville Country singers Katrina Elam and George Strait, and scenes will be filmed at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium.

Anyone interested in being a concert audience member for the film should go in their Country Western finest to Nashville Municipal Auditorium at 417 Fourth Ave. in Downtown Nashville from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Doors will open at 9:45 a.m. and last admittance will be at noon. The event is open to all ages.

Free parking and shuttles will be available at LP Field in Lot R (off Shelby Street).

Each person in attendance will receive a free BBQ lunch provided by the World Famous Loveless Café and free snacks and beverages throughout the day.  All volunteers will be entered into raffle drawings to win prizes such as gift certificates, gift baskets, autographed celebrity memorabilia and our Grand Prizes – a Vespa Scooter and a Walk-on Extra role in a movie scene with George Strait. You must be present to win.
