Fans Feast on Events Prior to CMA Awards

Betts Sure, you know all about the CMA Awards, but here’s a closer look at some of the other notable events taking place in Music City this week:   WEDNESDAY, NOV. 7   Good Morning America (Free and open to the public) The public is invited to come out for this free event on the Chevy Stage at the Sommet Center plaza on the corner of Broadway and Fifth Avenue. *Please be advised that Fifth Avenue will be closed between Broadway and Demonbreun; and Demonbreun is closed between Fifth and Sixth Avenue.* Time: 7:00-8:00 a.m. (CT) Location: Chevy Stage, Sommet Center, corner of Fifth Avenue and Broadway. ********** And on TV, country music’s big week isn’t limited to the excitement of the CMA Awards on Wednesday night. Tonight (11/6), on Dancing with the Stars, it’s “Country Music Night” with LeAnn Rimes on hand to perform two songs. And tomorrow morning, (Wednesday, 11/7), CMA-nominated duo Big & Rich (John Rich and Big Kenny Alphin) will be in downtown Nashville for a Good Morning America concert event taking place on The Chevy Stage at the Sommet Center’s outside plaza at the corner of Broadway and Fifth Avenue.
