Faith Hill is ready for some football as she has been chosen to sing the theme song for Sunday Night Football, "Waiting All Day For Sunday Night," for the second year. She will also appear on the show’s promotional campaign, with the Colt-Redskins game Sunday marking the first appearance of the ad and continuing to run throughout NBC’s Olympic coverage.

NFL stars Dwight Freeney, Ray Lewis and Torry Holt are featured in the first ad in which they are seen in the kitchen making snacks for Hill and her friends. “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” will run Sept. 7 during the first regular season broadcast of the Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears game.

Blackbird Studios in Nashville hosted the recording of the song while the video was shot at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, New York City and Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas. Hill expressed her excitement about her participation with the campaign in The Tennessean on Monday.

"What a thrill it was to be invited back this year," Hill said in a statement. "I'm a huge football fan and I love being part of the Sunday Night Football family. The promo piece is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.”
