2/27/2008 Stephen L. Betts   Faith Hill is among the list of celebrities performing for the tenth anniversary of V-Day in New Orleans on April 11 and 12. V-Day was founded by Eve Ensler, author of the award-winning play, The Vagina Monologues. The event strives to end violence against women and girls around the world. The organization has raised over $50 million for local anti-violence groups. Also participating in the two-day event are Oprah Winfrey, actresses Sally Field, Jane Fonda, and Glenn Close; and musicians Common, Eve, and Charmaine Neville. The V to the Tenth concert will be held April 12. In other Faith news, in spite of speculation that she and husband Tim McGraw would soon be recording an album of duets, the singer says in a prepared statement that while they have often talked about making a record together, it’s not in their immediate plans. Says Faith, “We're both working on our own projects; me on my first Christmas record and perhaps a few other surprises in '08, and he on a new tour, his next album, and a movie to be released this Christmas.”
