Hit Country Music songwriter Richard Fagan, most famous for writing John Michael Montgomery's “Be My Baby Tonight” and “Sold,” has been charged with criminal homicide, according to Nashville’s NewsChannel 5.

Fagan, 61, was charged after police came to his South Nashville home Sunday night to find a man stabbed to death inside. The victim, whose name has not been released, was believed to be Fagan’s roommate.

Fagan was arrested and charged with DUI Saturday night after drinking six shots of alcohol before getting behind the wheel. Police believe Fagan killed the man before he was charged with the DUI.
