Eric Church's New Release Proves He's "Chief"

Eric Church is back on top, reaching the No. 1 spot on Country and Top 200 Billboard album charts with his album, Chief. Chief is Eric's third studio album, and the sales have already quadrupled those of his second album, Carolina.

 

After Brad Paisley, Eric Church has the second highest selling country debut this year. Eric's single, "Homeboy," is now certified Gold, and he is only the second country singer to have an album debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 this year.

 

"We have always put everything we have into making the best records possible," said Eric. "Complete, individual pieces of work that strive to be as different and innovative as they are creative and artistic. It is a journey that at times has led us down the road less traveled. It is very humbling and rewarding to learn that a lot of people decided to follow this path. I can't thank my fans enough and look forward to where this trip takes us next."

 

Through October, Eric will be touring on Toby Keith's Locked and Loaded Tour. On August 8, he will perform on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!
