Emily West and Hospitalized Children Get Creative

Emily West participated in Lollipop Theater Network's Rhythm of Hope program last week at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville.  The program gives hospitalized children a chance to create music with special guests while also learning about the building blocks of music. West spent the day meeting and teaching the children, and at the end of the day, they all performed the song they created together.
"What a wonderful day I had," West said. "Those kids are angels; it was such a sweet relief to be around them.  I intend to spend as much time with these kids as much as I can."
