4/11/2008 Webb Southwest Airlines, who co-sponsored CountryHound's CMA MusicFest giveaway, is once again showing their "luv" for Country Music, not to mention film.  The airline has teamed up with Country band Emerson Drive and the Nashville Film Festival for a new fan-interactive contest.  Called “DING!  You are Now Free to Create a Film,” the contest asks festival attendees to register to win by submitting their title for a film about Emerson Drive, as if they were the filmmakers.  The person who offers the most creative entry will be chosen as the winner, and will receive the grand prize trip to Las Vegas.  The complete prize package includes 2 roundtrip tickets to Las Vegas on Southwest Airlines, 4 day/3night stay at the MGM Grand, 2 tickets to the Academy of Country Music Awards, and a Flip Ultra Video camera.  But that's not all.  The lucky winner will spend an entire day with Emerson Drive, filming the band with their new camera, as the group gets ready for the awards show.  That film will then be showcased on the web on The Nashville Film Festival website, Southwest Airlines' blog Nuts About Southwest, and Emerson Drive's website.  To prepare for the contest, Emerson Drive produced a promotional spot in which they were filmed onboard a Southwest plane at Nashville International Airport.  The spot can be viewed on the same three websites mentioned above.  The Country Music group will also be in attendance during the Nashville Film Festival's opening night, Thursday April 17, where they will walk the red carpet at 6:00pm with other special guests.  For more information, and to see a YouTube promotional video about the contest, visit Nuts About Southwest (http://www.blogsouthwest.com/2008/04/09/luv-nashville-luv-movies/).
