Former Emerson Drive Bass Player Dead

9/26/2007 Stephen L. Betts Patrick Bourque, former bass player for Emerson Drive, died suddenly at his home Tuesday night in Canada, the band’s publicist announced today. Details surrounding his death have not been made available, and at press time his body remained at a Canadian hospital. Patrick resigned from Emerson Drive in August and had been living and working in Canada since then. Emerson Drive members found out about his passing early this morning while on the way to a show in Nebraska. A statement from the group’s publicist says his former bandmates are “shocked and grieving.”
