Emerson-Drive  Emerson Drive will get the opportunity to travel to El Salvador to spread awareness as they team up with charity Compassion International.  Compassion International was developed to relieve children in third world countries from poverty. This will mark the first time a country band has teamed up with the organization to help the cause.  The trip to El Salvador will begin March 23. “This trip will give us a first hand look at life in third world countries and I have no doubt that it will leave a lasting impact on us individually and as a band. We’re excited about the partnership with Compassion and doing whatever we can to raise awareness about their child sponsorship program,” says Brad Mates, lead singer of the band. Along for the ride will be photographers from Country Weekly and a Nashville film crew to record some footage of the trip which will be used in a music video for “There’s My God,” from Emerson Drive’s up-and-coming album. For more information visit www.compassion.com, or www.emersondrive.com. See what the Big Dog has to say about this, read Webb's Woof.
