Elizabeth Cook Joins Conway Twitty Musical Cast

Elizabeth-Cook-2009

Elizabeth Cook has just been added to the cast of the musical about the life of Conway Twitty, titled Conway Twitty, the Life, the Man, the Legend, the Musical. This play is a work that several producers have been working on along with Twitty’s children.
Cook, who is a Country singer herself and hosts her own radio show on XM satellite radio, will be playing the role of Joni Twitty, one of Conway Twitty’s daughters. Cook was very excited about being able to be a part of this production as she has grown up being a fan of Twitty.
Cook said, “One of my earliest memories is sitting on my daddy's knee in Lakeland Civic Center in rural central Florida. A dazzling Conway and Loretta stood like singing dolls in the center of the stage, him in a silky suit with rings on his fingers, her in a long, hot pink gown and magnificent black hair. That image is burned in my mind."
Other actors in the play include Glen Templeton as Conway Twitty, Emily Portman as Loretta Lynn and Amber Hayes as Kathy Twitty.
The musical is touring now all over the U.S. Visit www.conwaytwittymusical.com for more information on the show.
