Eli Young Band Gets Their First Gold Record

Eli Young Band's hit song, "Crazy Girl," has been certified gold by the RIAA for reaching more than 500,000 downloads. The song, which debuted at No. 1 on iTunes, has been downloaded an average of 40,000 times every week in the last month.

 

"When you walk into a recording studio, you see these gold records on the wall and wonder what it takes to get there," said Jon Jones, EYB's bassist. "We're very lucky 'Crazy Girl' is gold. Making a gold record has been one of our goals since we started making music. It's a dream come true for us!"

 

"Crazy Girl" is now No. 18 on Billboard Country Songs Chart.
