Eddie Stubbs WSM Show Features Lorrie Morgan

WSM Radio’s Eddie Stubss will be interviewing singer-songwriter Lorrie Morgan on “An Intimate Evening With Eddie Stubbs” tonight (650 AM). The live show will take place at Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

The pair will discuss Morgan’s life and career.

The Country singer recently released A Moment in Time, a collection of evergreen classics including “If You’ve Got Leavin’ On Your Mind,” a personal favorite of Morgan’s that she calls “the ultimate Country ballad.”

Lorrie Morgan was just 13 when she made her first appearance on the Grand Ole Opry, singing with her dad, country star George Morgan. In 1984, she made history as the youngest member ever inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. She’s charted with more than 30 Billboard singles, 14 top ten hits. Seven of her twelve albums have gone gold and platinum.

Eddie Stubbs will also ask the singer about her move to New York in early 2010. Morgan is set to begin rehearsals for her starring role in the stage adaptation of “Pure Country,” in which she’ll play “Lula” opposite Joe Nichols as “Rusty.”

Those wishing to be part of the live audience Monday evening may win tickets by registering online at www.wsmonline.com or by listening to WSM for on-air giveaways. No other tickets will be available.
