Eddie Montgomery Opens Restaurant With Party

Eddie Montgomery, one half of Country duo Montgomery Gentry, celebrated the opening of his Steakhouse in Harrodsburg, Ky., along with family, friends and some of the biggest names in Country Music on Tuesday, Sept. 14.

　

Montgomery hosted the party with wife Tracy, and the two treated the restaurant’s capacity crowd with performances by John Michael Montgomery, Craig Morgan, Ira Dean, Colt Ford, Billy Dean, Danny Shirley of Confederate Railroad, The Roys and Animal Planet host Lucas Hoge. Montgomery kicked off the night with his hit, “Lucky Man.”

　

“A smile on your face, a great meal in your belly and a tune in your heart is what the Eddie Montgomery Steakhouse is all about,” Montgomery said.

　

Montgomery is set to appear on CMT’s Southern Fried Flicks with Hazel Smith on Oct. 17, and GAC’s Headline Country with Storme Warren plans to feature the singer’s restaurant in an upcoming episode. Country Weekly magazine will also highlight the restaurant in a future issue.
