American Rock singer/songwriter, Eddie Money has released a new single entitled, “One More Soldier Coming Home.” The song honors the men and women who serve our country. Eddie wants to recognize and show his support for the families of soldiers as well. He plans to donate 100% of the proceeds from the release to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a non-profit organization whose mission is to pay tribute to those who have sacrificed for the United States.

The single is currently available to download from Eddie Money’s website, iTunes and other digital outlets. The song has personal and significant meaning for the artist - both Eddie and his father were New York City police officers, and his brother served in the Marines.

“Every day that I put on that police uniform, I knew I was stepping into a tradition of protecting the men and women of my city. My brothers and sisters on the force did the very same on the morning of September 11, 2001,” said Eddie. “Since the terror attacks on New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania that morning, thousands more men and women have put on their uniforms to protect us. They’ve sacrificed their lives and way of life for us. This release and my relationship with the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is my small way to say ‘thank you’ for the bigger-than-life gift.”

Eddie celebrates more than 40 years in music making and is credited with a string of Top 40 hits and platinum albums. He continues to play more than 100 dates a year all across the globe. His most recent album, The Other Side of Money, was released in May 2008 and featured appearances by Vince Gill and John Ford Coley.
