Eagles Schedule First U.S. Tour Date

1/28/2008 Stephen L. Betts The Eagles have announced the first of their upcoming U.S. tour dates. The band will kick off their American tour May 14 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Alpharetta, GA. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday (2/1) at 10 a.m. (ET) via Ticketmaster.com. The tour, which will feature an all-new stage production, is in support of the country-chart-topping CD, Long Road Out Of Eden. Although the album was released in October, Don Henley says the group wanted to wait before hitting the road. Although the group’s classic material will be featured in the show, they wanted to give fans time to learn all the new songs as well. “We want them to go nuts for the new material, too," says Don. In March, the Eagles will be in the UK for a series of concert dates in London.
