Dolly Parton Gets Her Boots On

Dolly Parton has slipped into her combat boots, not cowboy boots,  to welcome back troops returning from active duty.

 

Parton joins other celebrities, political figures, business leaders and citizens in The Boot Campaign, an initiative organized by five women from Texas that focuses on generating support for members of the military.

 

The campaign encourages Americans to show support for troops by purchasing a pair of combat boots. In return, proceeds from all boot sales will be donated to partner charities, including the Lone Survivor Foundation, according to a press release.
