Dolly Parton Collector's Items Exclusively at Cracker Barrel

Dolly Parton fans everywhere will  have the opportunity to purchase collector's items at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store today. Parton’s newest CD, Backwoods Barbie - Collector’s Edition, is available only at Cracker Barrel and features songs that haven't been released before. And if you're an early bird, you will also get a chance to sit in a limited edition Dolly Parton pink rocker. Only 1,350 of these rockers have been distributed so each Cracker Barrel store has a limited number for sale.
“The Rocking Chair has long been an icon for Cracker Barrel, so this is a great way to bring Cracker Barrel and Dolly Parton together,” said Peter Keiser, Vice President of Marketing. “This is the first time we have created a special edition rocker in honor of a Country Music star. Ever since the news about this got out, we have been receiving phone calls and emails from guests who want to be on the top of the list to get their Dolly rocker,” he added.
Cracker Barrel is also offering The Official – Collector’s Edition – Dolly Parton Photo Album, a hardcover, glossy photo book that features Parton's life story and photos from her very early years right up until today. Many of Parton’s glamorous outfits and fabulous hairstyles are documented in full color. The book also features album-cover art and pictures of magazines whose covers Parton has graced.
“I wanted the songs I chose specifically for this release to reflect how I feel about Cracker Barrel and all the good things you can find there,” Parton said of the collector's album. “I think it’s important for there to be an authentic connection to the heritage that Cracker Barrel and I share.” The CD also features brand new photos and artwork.
