Dolly Leads Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Betts   Dolly Parton will be riding the lead float in the 2007 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (Thursday, Nov. 22), performing her new single, “Better Get To Livin’” in front of over three million live spectators and 50 million TV viewers nationwide (NBC-TV, 9 a.m. (ET). “I’ve always dreamed of doing the Macy’s parade,” says the superstar.  “I guess I don’t get to watch it this year though … I’ll have to tape it!” “Better Get To Livin’” is the first single from Backwoods Barbie, Dolly’s first mainstream country album in over 17 years. The disc is due out Feb. 5, 2008, on her new label, Dolly Records.  Also on Thanksgiving Day, the just-completed video for “Better Get to Livin’” will have its world premiere on CMT. In addition, Dolly will be interviewed on CMT’s Top 20 Countdown, airing throughout the weekend.
