The Dixie Chicks released a new greatest hits compilation CD this week that offers fans remastered versions of some of their favorite songs. 
 
Playlist: The Very Best of the Dixie Chicks, released by Legacy Recordings, includes tracks hand-picked by the band. Songs include “Wide Open Spaces,” “Cowboy Take Me Away,” “Long Time Gone” and “Not Ready to Make Nice,” among others.
 
The Dixie Chicks will be opening for the Eagles starting June 8 on a six-city tour.
