Dixie Chick Martie "It's a Girl"

1/28/2008 Stephen L. Betts Dixie Chick Martie Maguire is expecting. People.com reports Martie discussed the impending birth while on the red carpet at the Nobelity Artists & Filmmakers Dinner in Austin, Texas, benefiting the Nobelity Project Sunday. “I'm very excited,” says Martie, 38, adding, “We know what it is – it's a girl.” Martie is married to actor Gareth Maguire. Their first children together were twin daughters Eva Ruth and Kathleen Emilie, born in April 2004. “I'm feeling good now, although I wasn't!” says Martie. “Carrying one instead of two will be much easier.” With a growing brood among all three Chicks, (Martie, Natalie Maines, and Emily Robison already have seven children between them), Martie jokes, “We'll have to move over and let the little chicks take over. We've got a new band!”
