Disney Plans Special Country Music Release

6/25/2008 Katie Ball Walt Disney Records’ newest project, Country Sings Disney, will feature some of today’s hottest country stars when it is released Tuesday July 8. The collection of songs includes songs from both new and old Disney movies like The Little Mermaid and Dumbo, along with new classics Cars and Bambi II. The record features award-winning, chart-topping singers like Brad Paisley, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Alison Krauss and Martina McBride. It also features a special duet from Billy Ray Cyrus and daughter Miley, “Ready, Set, Don’t Go.” Cyrus also has a solo on the album titled “Real Gone.” The video for that can be seen on CMT and GAC. Faith Hill's song "Part Of Your World" was featured on a previous Disney compilation album The Best Of Country Sing Disney in 1996. Her husband Tim McGraw's song "Wherever The Trail May Lead" was also featured on the soundtrack for Home On The Range when it came out in 2004.
