Dierks Bentley: New Man in Black

10/22/2007 Stephen L. Betts   When Dierks Bentley first appeared on the country music scene a few years back, his onstage wardrobe included lots of flannel shirts. In recent years, however, Dierks has developed more of a preference for all-black concert attire – even, he says, down to his socks and underwear. “It’s kind of like putting my armor on before going into battle,” says Dierks. “It’s like I feel exposed if I don’t have [it].” Dierks is currently on his Throttle Wide Open tour, which lands in Duluth, Minn., on Thursday night (10/25), followed by stops in Milwaukee on Friday, and Mankato, Minn., on Saturday.
