Dierks, Grascals at Mandolin Player Benefit

10/12/2007 Stephen L. Betts Dierks Bentley, the Grascals, Mark O'Connor and Ricky Skaggs will be in Nashville for an Oct. 22 benefit concert for musician and record producer Butch Baldassari. The founder of the Nashville Mandolin Ensemble, who is also a record producer and adjunct associate professor of mandolin at Vanderbilt's Blair School of Music, is battling cancer. CMT.com reports that the concert will also feature Shawn Camp, Kathy Chiavola, John Cowan, Bela Fleck, Tony McManus, the Nashville Bluegrass Band, the Nashville Mandolin Ensemble, Maura O'Connell, John Mock and Three Ring Circle. All proceeds will go to Butch Baldassari and his family.
