On Thursday, Sept. 13 (6:30 and 9:00 PM/ET), Dierks Bentley will join the long list of country’s finest to dazzle audiences during the CMA Songwriters Series at Joe’s Pub in New York. Celebrating its 8th year at Joe’s Pub, The CMA Songwriter Series allows music fans insight into the stories behind some of their favorite songs and each event at Joe’s Pub is consistently sold out. Tickets for the September 13 CMA Songwriter Series featuring Bentley went on sale Aug. 8 at 3:00 PM/ET via phone or box office only.

“The CMA Songwriter series is a really cool gig,” said Bentley. “Joe's Pub is so intimate and the audience is a huge part of those shows because they're so close. It's like everybody in the room is in on a secret or something. You've got four guys with guitars, telling stories and drinking whiskey…anything can happen!”

CMA Award winning singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley has forged his own brand of Country Music combining classic Country songwriting, influences of bluegrass instrumentation and the energy of rock & roll. He recently made plans to toast the end of summer with the release of a four song EP titled Country & Cold Cans available Aug. 21 on iTunes, while simultaneously kicking off tailgating season with a limited Country & Cold Cans: Back To College Tour. The new music follows Bentley’s sixth studio album Home, released earlier this year, which debuted at No. 1 and has spawned three chart-topping hits marking 10 career No. 1 songs as a singer and songwriter. His five previous studio albums have sold over five million copies and garnered an invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry.

Joining Bentley will be Jim Beavers (“Felt Good On My Lips” recorded by Tim McGraw, “Why Don’t We Just Dance” recorded by Josh Turner, “5-1-5-0” and “Trying to Stop Your Leaving” both recorded by Bentley), Jaren Johnston (“You Gonna Fly” recorded by Keith Urban, “Anywhere” recorded by Sara Evans, and “The Woods” recorded by Bentley), and the evening’s host, Bob DiPiero (“Southern Voice” recorded by Tim McGraw, “Blue Clear Sky” recorded by George Strait, and “You Can’t Take the Honky Tonk Out of the Girl” recorded by Brooks & Dunn).

Tickets for the Sept. 13 CMA Songwriters Series at Joe’s Pub are $40 and $35 each.
