Dierks Bentley, Martina McBride Added to ACM George Strait Concert

Dierks Bently, Martina McBride and George Strait have been added as scheduled performers to the George Strait: ACM Artist of the Decade All Star Concert.  The special tribute to King George will air as a separate show for the first time in the history of the award on Wednesday, May 27, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.

Tickets are still available for the special taping, set for Monday, April 6, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The special concert will honor Strait and his 25-year career and will include previously announced performances by Brooks & Dunn, Jamie Foxx, Faith Hill, Jack Ingram, Alan Jackson, Jamey Johnson, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Montgomery Gentry, John Rich, LeAnn Rimes, Blake Shelton, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and Lee Ann Womack.

Only four other acts have received the Artist of the Decade honor, including Marty Robbins in 1969, Loretta Lynn in 1979, Alabama in 1988 and Garth Brooks in 1998.
